The chair created by Will Lee has added a whole new dimension to storytelling at Mayespark Primary School; a unique and eye-catching feature, it has become the focal point of many storytelling sessions. Upon its arrival the children were filled with awe and wonder at this marvellous creation. Animals and books had been skilfully carved from a beautiful piece of wood. The craftsmanship of the chair and accompanying benches is outstanding, This bespoke playground furniture is ideal for children and has exceeded our expectations. Mr Lee has certainly created a masterpiece!

Placed 1st at the European chainsaw carving championships 2014

This piece was the winning carving at the competition and will defends his title he also won in 2012. Carved from one piece of redwood.

Carved wooden maze for Hertsmere Borough Council

This maze was carved using 4 inch think oak boards. This is one of the biggest projects I've competed and took nearly 3 months.

Carved for the National Trust

This piece was a fallen oak at a National Trust arboretum that I carved into a staircase and throne. I also used other fallen timber to make the carved handrails. The design comes from the fern fronds that surround the the piece.
